Introduction of A.I.

A.I.(Artificial Intelligence) is an area of computer science or we can say that It is computer science technology. The earliest successful A.I. program was written in 1951 by Christopher Strachey. AI make machines more intelligent. Artificial intelligence (AI) makes it possible for machines to learn from experience and complete human-like tasks just like self-driving cars and apple mobile software “Siri”.Using AI, computers can be trained to complete specific tasks by processing large amounts of data and recognizing specifice patterns in the data.

AI focuses on the following components of intelligence: learning, problem solving, perception,reasoning.

(1) Learning :- Learning means to learn by trials and mistakes. As a human can learn by his mistakes of life and works, just like that machines learn from their experiences. Machines store the solution with the position so that the next time the machines encountered the same position or problem, it would recall the solution. Best example of this is a simple computer program for solving mate-in-one chess problems might try moves at random until mate is found.

(2) Problem-Solving :- Problem Solving means a systematic search through a range of possible actions , to get predefined goal or solution. This methods divide into special purpose and general purpose. A special-purpose method is searched for a particular problem and a general-purpose method is applicable to a variety of problems. For example If a robot search a problem solving for walking, talking, looking left or right then these are general problems and use general purpose methods. But if You want to see a back-flip from a robot then It will treat like a special purpose method to achievie this goal.

(3) Reasoning :- Reasoning is what we do when we take information that we are given, compare it to what we already know, and then come up with a conclusion. Reasoning skills are essential to day-to-day life: we use them to make choices among possible options, to distinguish between positive and negative situations, to decide how to approach a problem and resolve it, and much more.

(4) Perception :- Perception means to scan the nearby environment by using various sensory organs, real or artificial. For example To identify individuals, autonomous vehicles to drive at moderate speeds on the open road, and robots to roam through buildings collecting empty soda cans.
